This splash of color is high on the list of “must-haves” in almost every reef tank. The Yellow Tang ought to be fed an appropriate diet for active herbivores, so make sure to give it plenty of food to graze on. These fish can become aggressive once established, especially in a smaller tank, so make sure to put this fish in last or have plenty of room. Also, make sure to use caution when introducing other tangs or surgeonfish, including other Yellow Tangs. The exception to this rule being large tanks. (over 135 Gallons) If you are going to have more than one, introduce all Yellow Tangs at the same time.
