Captive Care: The Iconic Powder Blue tang is simply stated a stunning fish! With its beautiful shape, and unmatched light powder blue color with a striking yellow that can’t be missed in any reef tank. They are often times people’s favorites and often times a focal point in large reefs. Make sure that you note these fish do like to swim, so having a longer tank with a lot of swimming space usually works best for these guys. They also should be one of the last fish/tangs added to the tank as they get aggressive as they get larger. In most cases they do fine with fish they are housed with but adding tangs after is challenging.
