Captive Care: This fish is very high on the list for many wrasse lovers as a favorite and one of the top among Leopard Wrasse. These very mild-mannered fish seem to shine when they are in a peaceful tank and are allowed to dive into the sand at night. Their ever-changing colors from female to male are something to behold! They have some very interesting markings all along their body in both the male and female stages. The transition makes this a unique wrasse. Hard to get going once in captivity this fish is considered a delicate wrasse as they aren’t overly aggressive during feeding so an attentive reef keeper is a must with these guys. Once established, these fish do fantastic in our tanks and make for the absolute gem of our Tanks.
