Captive Care: This fish is very high on the list for many wrasse lovers as a favorite. These very mild-mannered fish seem to shine when they are in a peaceful tank and are allowed to dive into the sand at night. Their deep red color with very cool markings all along its body make this a unique wrasse. Hard to get going once in captivity this fish is considered a delicate wrasse as they aren't overly aggressive during feeding so an attentive reef keeper is a must with these guys. Once established, these fish do fantastic in our tanks and make for absolute gems in our reefs.
