Praziquantel Pellet is the standard fluke treatment for larger fish or bottom-dwellers — the pellet companion to the flake form. Useful for fish still eating but showing fluke signs (flashing, mucus, faint gill flashes), or for display-tank prevention without dosing the water column.
Active ingredient: praziquantel in pellet form, multiple sizes. Fed as sole food source. Should be given as two rounds 6 days apart to break the egg-hatch cycle. Pairs cleanly with copper or chloroquine in the tank. For exact feed schedule, see the Dewormers tab on our Medication Dosing Calculator.
Treats: gill flukes, body flukes, monogenean and digenean trematodes, tapeworms.
Use in: quarantine, hospital tank, or display.
Reef safe: yes — active stays in the fish.
