| Active Ingredients | Praziquantel |
| Treats | Gill flukes (monogeneans), tapeworms — water-column treatment |
| Use In | QT tank, hospital tank |
Every fish that checks into FisHotel gets two rounds of prazi during quarantine, six days apart, because flukes laugh at single treatments. The egg-hatch cycle is the whole problem — you have to wait for round two to catch what your first dose missed. Reef-safe at dose, so the same protocol carries into your display tank if you ever need a touch-up after introducing a new fish.
Active ingredient: praziquantel. Pairs cleanly with copper or chloroquine for a full quarantine workup without interfering with either. For exact dosing by gallon, see the Dewormers tab on our Medication Dosing Calculator — we keep the numbers in one place so they can't drift across product pages.
Treats: gill flukes, body flukes, monogenean & digenean trematodes, tapeworms.
Use in: quarantine, hospital tank, or display.
Reef safe: yes, at therapeutic dose.
